I studied eBay for a long time, and there so many fake Denso pumps (a generic pump shown next to a Denso box with the word 'Denso' cleverly hidden), that I just gave and bought a genuine pump at the dealer, in spite of the price. I also found pumps with the Denso part number in the description, but no indication that it was a Denso pump. eBay is a racket on parts like this.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Denso sold their fuel pump business and is trying to get out of the gas-powered vehicle biz and head toward EVs. This might explain why Denso pumps for LCs seem to be 'out of stock' everywhere.

Denso also has been trimming its businesses linked to gas cars. It is in talks to sell its spark plug and exhaust-gas sensors business to Japanese peer Niterra. It already sold its fuel pump business last year. Denso plans to halve its revenue from its internal combustion engines, mostly powertrains, by 2035. Powertrain systems accounted for roughly 22% of its revenue last quarter.
