Hi from Doha.
A few months ago I picked up a 1fz-fe 1998 land cruiser with a 5 speed manual/part time 4wd/subtank/sunroof/coolbox/rear ac.
Unfortunately it doesn't have a rear locker (it wasn't a common option in Qatar).

It's done 352,000km (218k miles) mostly highway miles.

This Land Cruiser would be a great addition to the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum in Utah but it could use a big fat turbo and 35" sand tires!

Dunlop sand tires used to be offered from the factory on some of the earlier land cruisers and Nissan patrols. They ride great offroad but aren't really meant for highway service (bias ply/nylon construction).

Curious, what’s the build code for this version? It’s on the VIN plate; for example my US-spec 98 is “UZJ100L-GNPEKA”.

Thanks. In the photos it looks more pristine than it actually is but it's definitely in great shape for its age/mileage.
