I just bought this Lexus this past weekend with 125,000 miles. I changed the plugs and wondering when the wires should be replaced. Do not have a complete maint. history on it and it is in need of a little TLC.

Any recomendations on a service manual for this vehicle, any used ?

FSM = Factory service manual.

It is about time for new wires. Don't even mess with anything other than OEM. Nothing fits or performs better.

You can get both of these by private messaging Cruiserdan. He's the resident Toyota parts guy on the board.

You can also call him by using the contact information in the "vendors" section.

If they are Toyota wires there will be a born on date printed on them.

The factory service manual is the best, get it from the dealer, or download it from Toyota's tech site. There was a good thread in the last week or so about this.

Change the wires.
Change all the fluids.
Repack all that contain grease that you can repack.

Baseline...

Welcome aboard :flipoff2:

Get the FSM.

:cheers:

Thanks for the info and will get the parts from Cruiserdan. Do you know what LC model they through the plastic on to call it the Lexus. I am thinking it is an 80, looking for best place for parts at low costs.

Yes it is an 80. For OEM parts you can't beat Cruiserdan
