Hey all, I have a pretty big move potentially coming up and it’s time for me to let go of my toy as I just got into a Tundra.

It’s a 23 year old truck with 23 year old truck problems. It’s not new, it’s not mint, but I daily drove it for the last 6 months without issue and just drove it to Utah and back to Houston, Texas where it is located.

Please don’t waste my time, I’ll expect phone calls after the first few messages from each individual to prove their serious and not just window shopping.

Here are the details:

1997 Toyota Land Cruiser 40th Anniversary

- 267,000 miles - Head Gasket Job done by previous owner

- Working front center and rear lockers

- Old Man Emu Heavy Lift

- Blue Fan Clutch

- Knuckles rebuilt by previous owner

- Re Geared to 4:88 Gears

- 35” Cooper Mud Terrains

- Custom sliders

- Rear 4x4 labs swing out bumper

- Front Ironman4x4 bumper with smittybilt winch

- new front rotors and pads

The Bad:

- it was an Oregon truck so there is some rust underneath, not bad and mainly surface. (Video provided to serious inquiries)

- Exhaust leak on the Y pipe, partially wrapped. Doesn’t throw codes and passes emissions. Just a slight audible annoyance. (Once again, video provided to serious inquiries.)

- It’s 23 years old with 267,000 miles, yes it leaks. Doesn’t drip as of yet, only seeps

- Could use a Heater control valve (fairly cheap and super easy to install) Please message me if seriously interested.

Truck is in Houston Texas. I’m asking $14,000. Thank you for your time.

Edit: Price lowered to $13,500

Wow that’s a thick service history. And that explains the Oregon rust discrepancy!

Are the undercarriage pics inappropriate for the listing? Is it that bad under there?
I stated in the thread that I will happily provide additional photos and videos to those that are actually interested in the vehicle. Not to those that are only interested in picking it apart with no intent on ever purchasing anything. Tire kickers are the absolute worst. I’m sure everyone realizes half of the people in these for sale forums are just browsing, looking to pick at everything then move on.

The rust isn’t bad, but as I said it does have rust.

I’ll consider posting some here, it may take a while as I would have to do it from a computer.
Thanks for your interest.

Now that my rant is over, I figured out uploads from a phone, and I’ve had my coffee. Here you go! Please be aware that it is dirty from my trip to CO a few weeks ago. You should be able to see a difference between brown dirt and red rust.

The rust doesn’t look bad to me, nice looking rig. GLWS
