Ive been around and driven quite a few of these and this is the best I've ever seen in so many regards. 207k mostly highway miles. Runs and drives excellent. Price is consistent with condition and rarity. 99% original. Double din Kenwood radio with Bluetooth. Have the original. Some new paint that is a perfect match due to some gloss coat pealing and a few hail and age dings. Need to see and drive in person to see how clean and well maintained this is. All works as it should. Recently gone through be me and local Land Cruiser specialist. Highly sorted. Immaculate truck. Front seats recovered with high quality vinyl that is a closer match to original leather than most leather I've seen. Original near perfect Collectors Edition floor mats in place. Throwing in the Weather tech liners. Tons of service history. Drive anywhere. Keep it, store it, drive it, or turn it into an off road show quality truck. Maybe 5 in this spec sold in 1997. More pictures to follow. Under Carriage, interior, engine bay, very clean with no rust. No leaks. Send any questions. In Upstate SC. Asking $15,900. Thanks for looking. Chris C. (864)314-1914

Really is one of the nicest 80's you'll find. Here's your chance to own it. I actually have two similar trucks. Thought I had to have one with lockers and didn't pass up the chance to buy this one when I found it. Nice when I got it and now on a whole new level. Put quite a bit of work and money into it, making it highly sorted cosmetically and mechanically. Drive one without lockers as my DD. Don't use lockers enough and figured this is the more desirable truck for sale.

I would do shameful things to get my hands on an 80 this nice. GLWS

Thanks for looking Will. Yeah. This one probably needs to go to someone who's interested in preserving it.

Heater hoses just replaced as was heater valve. PHH looks good and appears to have been replaced though no documentation to prove it. Chose to keep an eye on it for now. Part of inspection by Trollhole Cruisers just recently.

What panels have been painted?

How long have you owned it?

How's the steering wheel look?

The hood, both fenders, the cowl panel, drivers door all have been repainted by a very respected local paint shop that does all work for our local Toyota dealer. Most of it due to oxidation and gloss coat peal. They took it back to bare metal before reprint. Zero rust prior to repaint. The hood had some mild hail damage that was repaired by PDR prior. The passenger fender was replaced with new OEM due to a about 6x6 inch lower front dent and a smaller upper curve dent. I have original fender to show how minor. It is fixable but opted to replace. The front bumper is brand new OEM and the tips are repainted. The tips are a slightly darker color as with most original condition. All paint on body that was redone is a perfect match. And there rest of the pint is fantastic. The roof still has a few dings here and there and some rare light oxidation spots. No rust. The roof could be repaired likely with PDR but I opted not to since you can't see it and it's probably going to end up with a rack over it.
The steering wheel has some mild wear across the top. It presents okay without the cover but to the most discerning restorer, it would require redo.
I bought the truck three months ago knowing it's rarity for the purpose of reconditioning and resale. I have a nonlocked similar version that I'm keeping. I've got close to asking in it to make it this nice.
