Yes, this is an old thread, but it is wonderful for newbies like me. Thank you, BirfMark and others! The amount of work here is astounding... and really well done!
Through all the years of Toyota ownership, I have ALWAYS purchased the Factory Service Manual (FSM). It is really essential, albeit, it is sometimes REALLY HARD to find something... especially when the FSM refers to some other section, or when you can't find something in the index. Having the electronic search is AWESOME! And being able to print out a couple of pages without worrying about mangling the FSM that you paid $150 for is TERRIFIC! Even when I don't have the time, tools, or expertise to tackle something and end up taking it to someone else to work on, they always appreciate when I print out the relevant pages for them... and it gives me peace of mind that they are following the FSM during the repair. Hooray!
