I do not have a build thread. It was not re-geared. It is a great deal, buy it!

I guess I should have looked at your sig...

Like everyone else (I guess), you're very far away!

Come for a visit, Texas is nice this time of year. lol.

Still selling? Would mileage be better on 33's? I'm looking for a daily driver with some trail capability, not a 4.88-geared trail monster that I'll wear out driving to work every third day.

Still for sale. I didn't notice any difference in mileage before the tires and after. When mileage is as bad as it is on these trucks, it's hard to see a change. Just think, 1 mpg is almost 10% change. There might have been a change before and after, but nothing noticeable and I don't notice a difference on my credit card. This is my second 80 and my friend has had 3 80s and the best mileage either of us has ever averaged between 5 trucks is 14 mpg. If you're looking for good gas mileage, don't buy an 80. We daily drove this truck for 5 years.

Yeah, I'm not hoping for Prius level efficiency. But 10-12 is on the lower end, and I don't know how well the motor and 4.88s would hold up to highway speed over time. I truly don't know, because I've never owned anything geared that low.

Okay, I see that it hasn't been regeared, so forget that last part. I'd probably take the tire size down just to keep from having to regear it, which is why I had asked about the mileage if I stepped the tires down. I just forgot my own thoughts for a second.

Just buy it! :hillbilly:

Yeah, somebody buy this truck!

It's about 7'3". Most garages are 7' and it will not fit in a standard garage. I have a 9' garage door on my shop which is where I keep it. Without the rack, it should fit.

The height also makes it more expensive to ship since it's over 7 and shippers charge more over 7.

Beaumont, TX is the closest airport, about 25 minutes away. Lake Charles, LA is about 60 minutes away. Houston is about 2 hours away. I live in Vidor, TX and I have an office in Beaumont, TX.
