Interested if you are around the South East. Does your state/city have emissions requirements? If so, does sensor causing check engine light still allow vehicle to pass?

I am located in Columbia, MD. When it is time for emissions my mechanic simply turns off the light, it stays off for a few days, and I've had no problem passing. I do have interior pics and will take underside pics also. I am not that familiar with posting, how do I add more than five pics. Otherwise, I can email you individually.

The paint is original and in excellent condition, although the hood has some chips and could be repainted. The A/C works perfectly . The tires probably have at least 10,000 miles left in them. Thanks.
