**This is not my cruiser**
I went and checked out this LX450 in July.
It appeared to be a very clean, never "off roaded" LX with the following "issues":
The steering was very loose. Best I could guess was the front end is 100% original and in dire need of new tie rods, bushings, etc and new steering box. His fix was to tighten the steering box which just masks the issue.
Typical side view mirror looseness and AC vent looseness.
OIl leaks from front main seal and possibly lower oil pan, etc.
Paint was 8/10. The front part of the LX looks to have been re-painted at some point and the blend job wasn't that good.
Interior is 9/10.
The guy selling it owns a Jeep Parts company and has no knowledge of the Toyota platform (he admits). I believe he bought the vehicle from an older man and is flipping it.
Anyway, He is firm on price..$16,000
I made a fair offer in early July on a Sunday when the banks were closed, and he accepted but said only if I come that day with cash in hand.. (on a Sunday when the banks were closed). Since then, he has rejected my offer and is firm on price.
Maybe you can have better luck.

You'd be buying it for the low miles. Expect to rebuild the front end and take care of the other typical cruiser issues for the age.
