This rig is like 15k off the correct price point. This is a bag of unknown repairs

That’s right folks! The season of $20k 80 series that have ZERO documented or visual confirmation of blood sweat and gears (maintenance which is verifiable) is officially over!

You gotta start showing a build thread, parts replaced which must replace over 25 years, receipts for reputable shops or post purchase inspection or visible parts installed if you want to crack the $20k mark … keep it moving sir

Picked up my HDJ81 with verified mileage, one year newer, Active Vacation package, and triple locked for this price. The private seller’s are getting bold.

So how many miles does it actually have on it ? I am confused can we get a picture of the dash please ?

Yet undercarriage and knobs etc show way higher

And the timing belts seems to have been changed at far higher than 70K , funnily enough dated just before the shown CarFax

Auction inspection shows the reading off the Speedo ... BUT it has the dreaded * next to it which means that the Speedo is NOT CORRECT and usually that a known roll back has occurred based on previous registration history. So I guess that explains the stickers not matching and real milage is way higher

i honestly feel bad for the guy who will end up with this rig.

between lack of record maintenance, the roll back and that amount of rust is definitely not good at all.

Who ever buys it better be a master of broken bolt extraction and prep to drop another 5-15k in work
