For Sale: 1995 GMC W4000 cab-over Diesel truck. This is the same vehicle as an Isuzu NPR. I bought this truck to use the engine and trans in a Toyota 4x4 swap but the project has gone in a different direction. The engine is a 4BD2-TC which is turbocharged and intercooled and makes 135hp. The transmission is a Jatco automatic. This combination is a very popular swap into Land Cruisers, Blazers, Suburbans, Tahoes, and other GM full-sized trucks but will of course work all sorts of applications.
The truck has around 135,000 miles and runs perfect and the trans shifts nice and smooth as well. I recently changed the oil with Shell Rotella T6 synthetic lube. I also changed all of the fuel and oil filters so she's good to go. If you're looking for a diesel engine to swap, this is the perfect unit.
The body and frame on the other hand are a rusty mess. I think they could be saved and the truck used as a truck again but I had no need for that. Two of the brake lines are rusted out so they will need to be replaced. The frame has a ton of rust but is still solid. The cab is also very rusty but might be good enough for a cheap delivery truck.
Come on out and take a look, this might be the perfect engine, trans, chassis, or complete truck for you.
I'd like to get $2000 for it. I actually have more than that into it but I wanted a complete truck to use for my swap.
