Wanted 1995-1997 80 Series Less Than 100K Miles Mint Condition $$$$$ (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

Looking for a mint factory condition 1995-1997 80 Series with less than 100K miles preferred, but will consider 120k-150k if garaged kept factory paint car. I've seen the 40th with 38K miles, the blue one on Ebay and have passed. The 40th is close to what I want but at the asking price it has to be flawless. The blue looks good in pics but it's a poor cover up flip.

Prefer Gray interior, Lockers not important and anywhere in the US is fine.

Willing to pay top dollar so I'm open to see whats available.

At least Copley is coming down toward reality with their 40th (the 39K mile one). $70K down to $50K and still a way to go....

That will help, being open to some of those things, they are out there, just have to be patient.

Did you personally view the Copley 40th? If so, what flaws are present?

I didn't view it in person but there is surface rust on the undercarriage and oxidation on motor and components. Nothing of concern but at the price and mileage not something I would expect. There also seems to be an accident reported on the roof on the Carfax. It doesn't have a factory roof rack so not sure if it came that way or if it was removed to repair the mentioned damage.

I ended up purchasing a 1997 collectors Desert Dune over gray in mint condition. Getting it detailed this weekend and will post up pics. Trying to get used to the color. It's hard coming out of an ownership of a Night Shadow Pearl.

I'm going to start my search for a pristine ASP 40th in the new year. There are really nice one's out there, just gotta have cash in hand ready to roll. And be able to cut through the BS.

Nice CE. Paint looks bright. Woulda been quite the number if it was a K294.
