My 1993 fzj80 has the factory alarm........but, no remote for it. It would be nice to have one though. I have looked around on ebay, etc and found nothing for that year. Does anyone know where I could purchase one or find one? Thanks, Chans

Does it have stickers on the front door glasses that say something to the effect "protected by TVSS security system"? Is there a Status Monitor on the instrument panel that says "Toyota Security" on it and has a rocker switch that says "Valet" and "Horn defeat" on it?

Hey Dan, no stickers due to they were taken off. There is no monitor on the panel (that I have seen lit up anyway) but there is that rocker switch that says Valet and horn defeat next to the locker switch (well within a couple of inches that is)
The rocker switch thingy should have some teensy holes in it for a glass breakage sensor microphone and it should have a red LED as well. If so, you do have a factory alarm and I can supply replacement remotes.

Yep, its has the holes for the glass breakage. So, what might that cost me anyway? Thanks for the help Dan. Chans
