Started in on upper manifold and did some little things to the engine. I am finding I am missing some things here and there. A few crush washers, a hose here and there, some bolts, a few clamps and so on and so forth. This is what we call the nickel and dime part of a build. Ordering up what I need, cleaning as I go...blah blah blah. Yup, I am super OCD, especially on my own Cruiser. 🙄🤪😄

And oh man, it’s going to be hot in the shop the next few days. 🥵

Nice and rust free Cruisers are always the best to work on.

Old, I got the new ready to install but it seems I am missing the fuel pump cushion so it’s ordered.

Tank is nice and rust free but the fuel is old. I will drain and put in fresh gas before firing it up.

So I am going to paint my EGR pipe with 2000* paint and wrap it with some high dollar heat wrap. I needed to order a bunch of wiring stuff for @jmlockwood build, which I did this morning so got what I been wanting to buy for the new harness around the EGR. Some pretty high dollar heat wrap-sheathing.

My to-do is shrinking and I am going to postpone a few things as well. Got some wheeling trips planned before winter, it’s not like I haven’t wheeled a stock Cruiser before!

Got a new alt and starter in route. Need to order a new A/C compressor. Not sure I will be ready to stuff the new engine in this weekend, if not the following weekend for sure.

Cheers

Had to go get some of this after work.

Whats a new FP run now a days?

Any suggested mileage replacement for PM.

Did you have to supply redhead with the 105 shaft? Or did they acquire it themselves?

I supplied the sector shaft and rebuild kit.

Cheers
