Selling my 93 FZJ80 Land Cruiser. I mostly used it for towing my trailer/track car, rainy day commuting and hauling kayaks to the lake. I recently bought a Tundra for better towing so the Cruiser kinda loses its purpose and I don't really have the space for another toy vehicle.
241,000 miles on the 4.5L inline 6, runs strong, tows well besides the steep stuff
Exterior was plastidipped, poorly, by the previous owner. I started peeling the dip off the lower hatch but didn't complete it.
-Upper hatch has been replaced with an ok condition hatch.
-Drivers side rear door has been replaced with a rust free door and re-dipped. Underneath is the same green as the rest of the vehicle.
-All lockers work, front, rear and center. I also installed the center diff lock button to independently lock the center diff only.
-Has an Old Man Emu 2.5" Lift and steering stabilizer. About 2 years old.
-Airlift rear bags for towing
-Remote start and keyless entry
-A/C works well
-Front seats are rough, rear seats are fine
-Aftermarket pioneer head unit, front speakers and rear speakers
-Rust in front of both rear wheels, was fiberglassed by the previous owner. I welded in a patch behind the rear passenger wheel. Rear drivers side is also glassed by PO. I didn't get around to fully replacing the glass patches.
Recent Maintenance
-New radiator
-new water pump
-new alternator
-new battery
-pesky heater hose replaced
-smog deleted
-cat removed
-new muffler/dump before rear axle. Could use a tailpipe added.
-new cap, rotor and plug wires
-new intake hose
-new throttle cable
-oil pump o-ring replaced
-ebrake rebuilt, all drum lever components replaced
-2 year old mastercraft courser axt tires
-2 new oxygen sensors
-birfields recently repacked, knuckles rebuilt (new seals, new wheel bearings, new trunion bearings)
If I had the space, I'd be keeping it. It runs great, starts up every time, handles surprisingly well for such a big vehicle.
