I know someone that did that because of an accident where the roof was damaged. Easier to soft top it and trail rig it than repair... Price is high for a roofless truck!

That’s 15 minutes from me. Lol. Given a lower price that would be a great start to a camper conversion! However: That is NOT how you terminate a tube (straight on top of the wheel well) !
