I bought this truck completely stock about 9 months ago for no good reason. The initial plan was to store it and build a "dream" 80 eventually. After looking it over and fixing the issues which caused the original owner to sell it to me, it was quickly apparent that this truck was far to nice to let sit in my yard. This truck drives and rides very nice. So nice that it showed exactly how bad my 95 drove, so I basically ended up rebuilding that entire truck and swapping a bunch of parts between the two trucks. I have 4 cruisers right now, and selling this one would be one less distraction from the others.

The truck needs a little work, but runs and drives great. I'm offering it now for $1k less than I would if I finish all of the work - even though everything can be done in a day or 2 and the parts are included.

Details:

1993 FZJ80 228,212 miles
Truck originally had no lockers, I swapped the elocked axles from my 95 into this truck (which have always worked flawlessly)
-Front axle rebuilt in 2013. 1K miles ago inspected, resealed/greased/changed synthetic diff oil
-Rear axle rebuilt in 2013, 50k miles ago. Redline synthetic 15k ago
-Powerstop brakes in front, about 80% on pads. Fresh dot 4 fluid flush, new extended hoses, brakes are excellent
-Nice cloth interior, no dash cracks
-315/75/16 cooper ST maxx with 4500 miles on them, 2 years old. 2 full size spares.
-Older bumpit rear bumper with dual swingouts and hitch
-Hand throttle
-OME meduim 2.5" lift springs and shocks, "washer mod" caster correction
-Radiator replaced with a KOYORAD 5 years and 2k miles ago, along with several hoses. Radiator was flushed w/toyota red in January
-Driveshafts rebuilt and fuel pump replaced 5 years/1500 miles ago
-No leaks
-clean title in my name, emissions good through April 2020
-Cold A/C
-PHH replaced in 2012

The Bad:

-Paint is faded (original paint, dark green)
-both front door panels have sun damaged vinyl at the top due to having un-tinted windows. Dash has always been covered and is in excellent shape
-a few small dents in the passenger side.
-Small chip at top of windshield, has been there for 10+ years

Work needed:

-Rear elocker needs to be wired up. Either run new wires from the kick panel connector to rear harness or replace the rear harness with the locker model. Parts for either option will be included.
-Elocker ECU, dash lights and switch need to be installed - all parts included, plug and play
-Rear bumper was loosely installed just to get it out of my garage, needs to have the rest of the brackets installed - parts included.
-Drivers power door lock is slow/sticky. Have a spare actuator if needed
-Passenger rear door window does not work. PO said they forgot to plug it back in about 10 years ago when they had the door panel off to install speakers. I have a spare motor if needed.

I have put about 1500 miles on this truck and it drives very nice. The original owner took good care of it and only used toyota parts whenever possible. It has been in PHX its whole life, so no rust. I have a whole bunch of parts and accessories I would make a deal on with the truck as well - Dometic fridge, fridge slide, puma compressor, ARB front bumper, new 285/75/16 toyo MT's, awnings, roof rack etc.

Will consider trades up/down for a stockish 100 series or GX470 for my mom.

$8500 as is, or $9500 with the "work needed" category completed.

I will add more pictures soon. These were taken before the rear bumper was on and they make the paint look much better than it is.

Note - I have not cleaned or detailed the truck, it is just as I got it. I appreciated that the original owner did not pressure wash the engine bay, so I left it that way. It should clean up nicely.
