Pristine rust-free example originally owned by a Qatari Sheik (Al Thani), spent most of it's life garaged in France. Bidding is not too crazy, yet.

Tech is that it is a carbureted 5 speed manual with factory winch.

i agree. i mean its clean and the 5 speed is cool but a carb is just for me.

I've driven a carb'd 80 and there was plenty of power with the 5 speed (watch the embedded driving video on BAT), but then I also prefer the 1FZFE with the ATM.

Just thought the forum might be interested in the rarity; LHD, Manual 5-speed, Carb'd 1FZ-F, Aux fuel tank, factory winch, Rear AC, refrigerated center console, leather interior, super clean, low miles.

Someone with a lot of time could pull all the needed parts from a US Model FZJ80 and transform it to fuel injection, automatic transmission, all controls, instrument cluster, ECM, wiring harnesses, etc ?? It would be a ton of work
but in the end you'd have a very low mileage rust free LHD 80 series.
