This 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser has 212k miles. We have owned it for the past 7 years. This is one of three we currently own. An employment change has created a daily 120 mi round trip commute and we need a few more miles to the gallon.
I'll list the maintenance things I have done which should give you some idea of the current condition.
Michelin LTX tires have 30% left.
Most of the maintenance work was done at the former Menlove Toyota Bountiful Utah, now Bountiful Utah Toyota. I have also done a bunch of the work myself. All the work was done with factory Toyota parts (thanks Dan) which includes:
All new fuel injectors (dealer)
radiator
radiator hoses
engine belts,
complete front end rebuild with new BIRFS and bearings (Tony Divino Toyota Ogden Utah.)
Oil changed last week, Mobil 10-40 synthetic High Miliage
Synthetic oil Mobil 1, in transfer case and front/rear axles,
New front/rear speakers,
new windshield
50% left on front brakes
Bilstein shocks
water pump
Power Steering Pump seals
new COSTCO Battery
Alpine Stereo with amplifier
Factory AM/FM is also included
The truck uses about a quart in 3K miles. Oil has been changed every 4500 to 5000
A/C blows cold
This truck has the all important Center diff lock and comes with a Light bar with Hella lights.
The clear coat on the hood has peeled. the rest of the cruiser looks good as shown by the pictures. The front seats are worn but are not bad for a 1992
It runs and drives great. It passes emissions with 0 issues. Is so far under the maximum allowable limit the shop that tests it would think its had engine work which it has not had.
There are no engine oil leaks. There is a power steering hose leak
If you are looking for a Land Cruiser that's a great runner and will get you just about anywhere this might be your new ride.
