Selling my 92 HDJ81. This truck has been well taken cared for and is up to date on all maintenance, it’s not a show truck but if you want a turn key off-roader or overland truck that can take you anywhere this is for you. I travel for work so more pictures will come and be patient with me if I’m a little slow to respond but will try to respond at least once a day. I don’t know the history other than what I have done but never found any real issues just maintenance and upgrades, I’ve put a LOT work and money in it. 1-HDT turbo and automatic, I average 16-18mpg on the 35’sand it drives great. I’ve driven it to Moab from NW Montana, wheeled for a week and back with no issues.

The Bad:

Oil pressure gauge on dash inop (had a mechanical gauge installed, pressure is above average)

Paint- was painted and they must have not prepped well it’s peeling around the edges a little nd it’s not great paint, has chips and scratches but almost 0 rust.

Rear brakes are weak, need to replace LSVP

Crack in tailgate (I think it had a factory swing out tire carrier and the holes were patched)

Cruise control works when it wants to

Carpet has some stains

Windshield has some chips

Overall the truck is in great shape, it has almost no rust. Again, more pics to come i know these kinda suck but it’s raining right now I’ll put some more up tomorrow. Some are not 100% current. Mileage is 334398KM, not much for a diesel. I have not had any issues registering or insuring here in Montana. Located near Kalispell MT, price is $26,000. Open to trades for 2017 or newer Tundras, nothing else.

This truck was here last year for a valve adjustment, I didn’t see anything wrong with it when it was in the shop. Other than it needed an a/c hose, which knowing Neil, he’s probably fixed that already too.
Oh yea, forgot the valves were adjusted, thanks! The hose is repaired also just needs charged.

I also forgot it has a new Toyota power steering pump. Lots of new parts on this truck!

This truck is awesome and drives better than any 80 I have been in. The new owner will be very happy!

I just updated the mileage, it showed up wrong in the header.

I can't believe this hasn't sold yet

Hey Toyota Guy... NIce FJ! I see you commented on my FJ80 thread as you are trying to get some clicks over to your 1992 cloth FJ, Pretty smooth move! I am sure a guy like Kenny Powers will come along and buy your rig.

Hey Toyota Guy... I see you commented on my FJ80 thread as you are trying to get some clicks over to your 1992 cloth FJ, Pretty sly, but I can appreciate it and get it as you are having trouble selling it... I agree yours may be priced a little high, lots of KMs, and KMs means its not a US FJ... Japanese, right hand drive, cloth seats (tho some like that compared to the Alligator Leather in the FJ80s). If you have seen my channel, perhaps we compare side by side and see why mine is worth about 10K more. I am in SoCal... Perhaps we can meet half way, because I wouldn't want to drive into the Salt belt...

He’s RHD turbo diesel and I’m pretty sure it’s worth more than your gaser,no offense at all but diesel to gas there’s no comparison!
Ok, I have lots ok KM’s? I only have 30,000 more miles than your “low mileage” truck so according to you they go from low miles to worn out in 30k miles? Idiot! I have not seen your channel and don’t care to, if you want to meet you can come on up because they don’t salt the roads in the summer which is the only time I drive this truck. Oh and thanks for pointing out it’s RHD I don’t think anyone could tell from the pictures
its a RHD turbo diesel....no offense but I’m pretty sure there’s no comparison to yours!?...totally different ball game when you talk gas to diesel!...no offense towards you at all but you really can’t compare the 2! You both have great looking rigs but if it was up to me,turbo diesel all day man!

Good looking truck man, but you know that! Good luck with the sell, hopefully mine stays unsold so the kids and I can keep enjoying it. Stay safe and good luck!
