Well, my water pump quickly went from a drip to a puddle. While I'm replacing it, I want to knock out as much as I can in terms of replacing parts. Besides the hoses and belts, what should I be doing? Thanks for the collective wisdom. This is a 1992 FJ80.

Plan to do the timing cover and front main seal once you get that deep into a 3F.

I'm addition to the parts you already listed:
Fan clutch
Radiator
New fan
Chevy 6.0........

Hey you know what, I did both of those last summer. I was thinking the thermostat, right?
If you did the front cover already than you know what you are in for.

When I dive into the front of a 3F I replace everything that I can so I never need to do it again for another 30-40 years.

In my opinion a 3F water pump is the worst job in the Landcruiser world.

On the water pump pull the backing plate and use sealant on the gasket, both sides. Recently did a 3FE water pump job, bought an Aisin pump from Rock Auto, installed it and it leaked. On the positive the second time was easier
