1991 Toyota Pickup with 2LTE built to drive the Pan American Highway (1 Viewer)

Just wanted to share the current build I'm working on, I'm planning on driving this truck down the Pan American Highway this fall (COVID-19 dependant) and will be spending about a year and a half on the road. Wall-E is a 1991 Toyota Pickup that had a 2.4l 2L-TE turbo diesel swapped into it.

Engine

• Toyota 2L-TE 4cyl turbo diesel

• Tridon high flow 89°c thermostat
• Custom 3-row oversized aluminum radiator
• Rebuilt turbo
• Manual boost controller
• Airspeed controller to fool ECU boost readings
• Fuel screw adjusted up 1/4 turn
• Top mount intercooler, hood scoop, and 8” electric fan (Installing in 3 weeks)

My girlfriend and I are big surfers, so we will be going down Baja and then taking the ferry over to Mainland. I spent 4 months last winter in Baja and can't wait to go back.
