Engine has a turbo from previous owner, right at 300k miles.
So after spending the money to have the rear main replaced, the shop says the oil leak is actually coming from the head gasket at the very rear of the engine, seeping into the bell housing.
So new head gasket questions:
I see different thicknesses, 5 hole gaskets, etc. What type do I need?
Is there a service manual somewhere that outlines the steps and torque specs?
Is there anything else I should do while it's apart? I know the previous owner did the timing belt about 1000 miles prior to me purchasing. I would rather spend a little more on preventative maintenance now while it's apart then have something go on my in a few months.
Also what sort of time would this take for a professional shop? He said around 8 hours. Does that sound reasonable?
Thanks in advance for looking!

RM172E is the shop manual you need for this job should you decide to tackle it yourself.

I got the manual, thank you for that, very helpful.
Any other pointers for this process? Is it possible with the piston "protrusion" to replace the piston rings with head removed?
Any value in adding the ceramic pistons with the aftermarket turbo?
