any photos? other info?

is it the white one that was for sale a year ago?

that's the one I was thinking of. Seller? Mileage, photos?

Nope- just a 300k mile 3fe/80 series worth a good $1500 and some $2500portals.......this should fetch $15k every day of the week.

but seller may trade for $17k "cummings" ;)

current longest for sale threads:
1. dewd with 4bd1t fj55......since 2009
2. Rexman holding firm at $16k since 2011

both asking prices divided by 4 would be a tough sale....but possibly strike paydirt.

prediction:

in the year 2033 when electric vehicles are the only legal thing allowed on the road- and No one is even offroading due to inability to get gasoline- someone will buy this for $16k and the seller will be laughing at us all.

I hear ya. I was just wondering why it was posted by what seems to be the same OP from Pirate as on here for $9,000 and now its $16,000. If it was still in TN I would buy it for 9k

got meth? :hillbilly:

This would be a great auction to watch on Bring a Trailer (but with no reserve)! I remember when the previous owner had it listed for about 8-9k. It was tempting then..

Well it's down to $9k Looks like it needs a lot of work though. It was in much better shape before current owner. Basically selling portal axles with a restoration project on top. Painters tape would have been a great idea to use for the fenders.

Did this ever sell?

From the ad on Pirate 4x4, the first picture you posted (I'm assuming it's from when you first bought it) looks like a $9,000 rig. But the most recent pictures I have seen posted on Pirate looks like the rig has seen much better days. I know you said its only had at max 600 more miles added to it, but those must have been some rough 600 miles. It would help to sell it if you put some work in it and cleaned it up. In reality the buyer would be getting a restoration project as paint is shot and interior looks like it only has 2 seats intact.

I would say $6,500 is a reasonable price for it as is. It's a 91 80 with over 200,000 miles and some portal axles
