I'm currently putting an FJ80 chassis under a FJ45LB and would like to have a mild lift. I would like to have the smoother ride of coils but not lose too much load carrying. I assume that the removing of all the windows and metal found on the rear of an 80 will bring us closer but I welcome any input. In addition to smoother ride I believe the rear axle will not move as far rearward? I have owned and seen many take rear wheel well damage from leaf spring articulation. I'm looking for a lift from 2.5 - 4" complete. If it's a 4" i believe it requires castor correction? I welcome any and all input, thank you in advance, L.
