Hey y’all
Just bought my FJ80 about 2 weeks ago.
240k on the motor, but runs like a champ. I’ve noticed a couple things here and there that definitely need to be worked on, but it’s still good in its condition now.

So far, I’ve had the exterior detailed and cleaned the interior

I’ve changed spark plugs and wires, oil change, and front and rear diff fluid changed.

Next on the list is to change the fluid on the transfer case once I’m able to get the fill plug off without rounding it out.
After that, I’m onto the replacing the axle seals.

Hoping to turn this into a conservative overland rig. I’ve learned so much in so little time from this site.

Congrats on the new rig!

Was able to repack some grease into the knuckles. Hoping it will help prolong the life of the knuckles for now while I await the rebuild kit from Cruiseroutfitters.

Was also able to add some grease to the yoke but don’t really know what that’s for. Tried to grease the actual U-joints but for the life of me could not get the grease gun fitting onto the fitting of the u-joint.
