We've decided to sell our 1990 FJ62. New commute has lead us to a more efficient vehicle. It has been meticulously maintained by yours truly and many items have been replaced and repaired over time. Here's some of the particular items of interest for most on MUD. All repair receipts have been kept and are available to be reviewed by prospective buyers.
1. 220,568 confirmed miles
2. complete engine rebuilt by Toyota at 120,000
3. OME heavy lift kit
4. BFGs All Terrain KO 33x10.50 with 40% tread
5. Third row seat
6. Seat heaters
7. Vivair air compressor installed in rear quarter panel with hose and chuck on circuit breaker (50 AMP)
8. Cobra CB radio with clean antenna mount on hood
9. we are second owners since 2001
10. garaged 100% of time when parked
11. non-smoking family
12. no rust...once again NO RUST.
13. CA DMV registration was renewed this month
14. passed smog every time
15. no check engine light issues at all or ever
Replaced parts over the last year:
1. New belts
2. New radiator
3. Speedi Sleeve installed on main pulley
4. Main pulley oil seal replaced
5. Rodney flushed the tranny 212,528
6. changed engine oil and OEM filter 220,539
7. balanced and rotated tires at 220,501
8. replaced relay rod and tie rod ends at 213,448
9. replaced power steering pump 212,000
10. bled brakes 220,561
11. replaced heater hose clamps and hoses
Replaced over the past five years
1. OME heavy lift kit installed with OME shocks (Cruiser Outfitters)
2. Changed battery and installed heavy duty cables from MUD member
3. Rebuilt knuckles
4. New starter OEM/Bosch
5. New A/C compressor and conversion to R134
6. replaced smog vacuum lines
7. Changed spark plugs at 211,177
Minor disclosure issues
1. brake pads will need to be replaced in 10,000 miles
2. rust repair on rear hatch has been performed but not repaited white by window seal
3. The tranny has been maintained with regular fluid and filter cleaning but given the mileage I expect a torque convertor replacement within 30-40,000 miles or so. I'm very picky but don't want to be accuse of any misleading on the sale.
