I have a silver 89 FJ62 that I bought this Spring and its my daily commuter. I recently got an 87 FJ60 that needs garage space so I am selling the 62.
What needs to be addressed.
The odometer 135,000 and speedometer are not functioning although the former owner said they had worked.
Some of the window switches are not operational.
The original radio does not turn on.
Paint is original and shows it.
There are some small rust spots. (I'll upload pictures later)
Tie rods and power steering gearbox are questionable.
Truck hesitates going into reverse.
Good things
Engine fires right up and runs smoothly
Brakes are smooth with no pull
Frame is solid
It really is a joy to drive this every day but I can't do the work necessary to make this my permanent vehicle. I'm asking $7,000 for this but will accept reasonable offers.
