Time for a change.

This is a 2 owner FJ62 with a lot of modifications. Very road-worthy, the central idea for the build was to keep the truck looking as stock as possible while pushing the limits of what the truck can do. It may not look stock to you, but start looking at the specs and realize that it is truly UNSTOCK.

The truck came from the Memphis to Jackson MS 9 years ago. It has never once seen a salty road..

Bump for an awesome truck! Watched the build over the years and everything is done "right". Good luck with the sale Greg. Looking forward to your new project!

wow....that is sad you are parting with the 62.

Bump for a cool rig and great, knowledgable cruiser head

Wow. A work of Landcruiser art. Stock interior?

Wow. I've wrenched on this truck. They don't come better cared for or from better sellers. The wow is that he's giving up his baby.

PM sent

More or less. It's got a few mods.

  • bunch of grab handles in OEM location
  • Trans Temp gauge
  • Dyna mat on every surface I could get to. I'd say it's camry quiet. Not quiet lexus quiet.
  • OEM seats. Very tiny tear on the DS seat, but otherwise perfect. My friend Gary Coberly gave me a set of old school seat covers about 5 years ago and the seats haven't seen sunshine since then.
  • Waggongear side panels - custom made to accomidate the custom sub boxes. The pane doors are smaller. Still big enough to get a gallon jug of toyota antifreeze for spare
  • The rear carpet has been covered with rubber floor mat for about 7 years.
  • A bunch of non-oem tie downs in the cargo space.
I guess it's unstock.

Bump for the best deal out there -- can't believe you are selling this rig.

TJK

(I also wish I had a dollar for every time you've said that to me! :D)

I would love to know how much you have spent on that truck. I can't believe you are selling it so cheap.

Yeah, what Nolen said. The thought of you selling the old war horse saddens me greatly. I hope the lucky buyer appreciates what he has, but I doubt that's even possible. That's a historic truck if there ever was one. :hmm::frown::cheers:

x2....

by the way, i don't think any of you are making this easier on him. i was devastated when i sold my 62 and though mine was very capable and very much an extension of me, she had nothing on this rig here. yes, this is one of the better 62s out there and whoever is fortunate enough to purchase it, i'm sure will appreciate it. GLWS. :)

Bump for a great guy...

I too have seen it in person, although it was parked. Awesome rig.

Sorry to see it on the block, but not shocked...good luck with the sale Greg!

This is the truck that brought me into the cruiser game.
Fantastic truck from a fantastic owner.
Lots of blood, sweat and tears in this one mud peeps!

Great Rig!!! Good Luck Greg
