If you are after ideas - here is another pic pretty much packed with the fridge etc in… the carpeted box on the right is my kitchen box - cooker / cutlery / frypan etc…. I made it to fit tight between the fridge cage, side storage box and sub box (maybe a bit too tight!)
A fold up camp table fits tightly behind the fridge - sandwiched between the back door (I had to remove the internal handle of the upper tailgate to get it to fit… doesn’t rattle though!!)

love creating - ideas turn into building! the "cage" only needs some paint then most of the rear cargo area is done.

Nice work. What is the cage for? Storage for items that would otherwise move? Does it interfere with rear view mirror visibility?

Thx - the cage is for storage boxes with food etc. The left side up against the rear left window is for clothes. jackets etc. On the right side af the cage - outside - I will find some kind of storage. Something with pockets.

Just ripped up an old backpack and mounted some of it on the front of the storage cabinet and took some straps for holding the air hose and more. Real recycling :)

Mounted my old awning and the roofbox. Soon it will be ready for the first overlanding.

After our first overlander trip to Sweden the last couple of days I spent some time building a little more for the LC.

This truck is turning out very nice! I’m impressed! I would love to have the 12HT in America, but it’s so expensive to get your hands on one here and the parts are virtually non-existent.

I’m interested to know what parts you replaced in the steering column. I have some issues with mine and I really need to address it soon.

Thank you very much - it is becoming the HJ61 that I really want. Well regarding the steering column I change all the u-joints including the totally overpriced upper one, where the steering wheel goes! It really helped since the upper one was waste! But there is still some left - it seems like the last is in the steering box. I will try and adjust it a little bit - but I am considering a 80series steering box - but again it is freakin expensive!!!

I rebuilt my steering box. I still want the 80 series box. Yes, it’s very expensive! I will look into changing the u joints in the column soon!

Got my storage brackets back from the carpainter - great to have them fitted. I am considering one more alubox for our foldable table. Also got a new clutch and a new 24v voltage regulator.

Please tell me where you got your clutch?

Started my rear cargo carrier today. Next I have to build the crossbar and the box for my aluboxes. Find a solution for the lock/unlock of the crossbar. I have an idea :)
