Nice rust free (never had ANY) Toyota FJ62 Land Cruiser 4x4 that has spent it's entire life in the Tucson area. Converted the square headlights (never like that look) over to the 1980-1987 FJ60 round style headlights. In the conversion, I used a rust free 1987 front clip and transferred over the fender wells, radiator core support, fenders, hood, grill, valance panel, and front bumper... This gave it a retro look that is to me, much more eye appealing than the 4 square headlights.
The FJ62 wiring harness where it terminates into the headlight area was properly removed and the FJ60 wiring grafted onto it for proper front light operation.
Currently using it as a daily driver around town and the steering is nice and tight (especially with the new tie rod ends and drag link ends I put on). Highway travel is fine with no vibrations or other issues and the transmission shifts properly/works great. Title is repaired salvage because the fender/hood/fenderwell, etc. were damaged in a fender bender. Frame/chassis was completely untouched and is still in pristine condition.

In the conversion, I did:

Replace both fenders, hood, radiator core support, grill, bumper, and wheel wells from the FJ60 to the FJ62
I painted all the interior sides of the parts being swapped so that they were protected and visibly nice
Hood underside was stripped, repainted, and redone with anti-flutter caulk to adhere the supports to the skin, new clips installed with the hood liner
All grill parts that were fastened to the radiator core support have new fasteners and new fastener receivers/plastic clips from Toyota
AC was converted over to 134a and installed a new OEM Denso dryer/accumulator
New windshield washer bottle OEM Toyota
FJ62 front wiring harness was converted over to the FJ60 wiring harness
New front spring bushings installed (remaining bushings included but not installed)
Nice chrome wheels that are 15x7 with a 4" backspacing along with AT tires with 95%+ tread
New front disk pads OEM Toyota
Brand new Japanese 555 tie rod ends and drag link ends
New air intake plenum sections
New stainless steel battery tray
Transmission was rebuilt 4 years ago for $2500 and I do have the receipt

The BAD:

Paint is faded in areas from the AZ sun and the front clip needs to be painted
Dash has cracks (AZ all its life!) but has a nice dash cover on it
Power antennae is still on the truck in the engine bay but I installed an aftermarket one. You can go either way with this.
Rear bumper has a small ding in it
Passenger side seat has a small tear in the vinyl right where you enter the vehicle
Oil pan does leak and the gasket needs to be replaced
Title does read 'restored salvage' now.
The passenger side mirror chrome is peeling (sun/heat!)

I will have the front clip painted next week if it does not sell the way it is but the price will go up about $2500.
The way it is now gives you the flexibility to either do the painting yourself, have the front only painted, or have the entire vehicle painted so that it is done the way YOU want it done.
Have it hauled or drive it home anywhere! I am located in Tucson
Did I mention that it had NO rust ever?
