1987 HJ61: What is this orange light on my dash? (1 Viewer)

Hello all,

I have a 1987 Toyota HJ61. Yesterday while raining this light turned on on my dash. The words are faded so I do not know what it says.

I searched for diesel dash instruments but could not find one.

Can anyone tell me what this orange light is and why it might have turned on?

It turned off once it stopped raining.

Water in fuel light , you should check the water trap . But I think you may have some electrical problem that causes a short in wet weather

Its been asked before. I would read the whole thread because it hints at alternator problems also.

What is this dash warning light?

Hey guys, I've been trying to figure out what this dash light means and where it gets its signal from. If I had to guess, it looks like oil dripping in to the sump, so maybe something oil related? Truck gives positive oil pressure readings at the dash and aux gauges and the EDIC isn't cutting out.
