The frame is bad bad bad. A GOOD cruiser mechanic told me it was unsalvagable. Had it inspected afterwards by a Motor Vehicle Inspection officer. Way too much work for me to put it back on the road.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but shouldn't someone be jumping all over this? What motor would this be, a 12b? The engine alone should more than cover parts and shipping on this thing. Then part it out... I dunno, what are the import implications for such an animal?
I bet someone can make this a good deal.
Good luck Happy.

12b................?? I would be a 2H motor.

It is a loooooooooooooong way away for you and I ....shipping would be brutal.

I dunno what I was thinking on the engine type. Either way, someone should take a look at this thing. Bump for a good possibility for somebody.

At the end of the day the cost impact of moving a Landcruiser on a flatbed are not too too bad, depending on how much you think it should cost... A Carrier would only take it there if they had other freight to move with it. I can price that up without much difficulty. Always depends on where it is going... Moving freight out of NS is pretty cheap because there is not much moving out of here. Ofcourse the cost impact of destination must be considered. Moving from and bad area for freight makes the price cheaper. Moving into a bad area for freight makes the price more expensive. You can move shingles back out of Cali or Concrete wall board out of IN but in other areas you are runing for 300 miles to find freight and even then you're running for a pack of cigs and a pepsi. There are various websites out there that will give a step by step on how to import. Just gotta make sure your ducks are in a row prior to the truck hitting the border. Typically the USA / Canada border requires a 72 hour clearence notification for nused equipment that has a drive train. Ofcourse that being said, go to your local 4x4 parts dealer and ask if they can handle bringing it in for you and offer them cost + $100 for their trouble. On this end I can find the transportation but cannot tell the cost until I know where it's going. (I'm a transportation guy...)
