What a beauty! Is it from a South American market? Can you post a picture of the 2nd row of seats (looking from the front)?

It is a pretty interesting setup. The passenger seat actually slights forwards and rotates making it a little easier for a rear seat passenger to get in and out. You will see an additional release handle on the interior passenger door as well. This also is easy access for the rear passengers.

Looks like the way the first gen 4runners doors were set up. Very nice rig!

Agreed, I was told this was done at about the same time child safety seats became popular.
So that one adult riding in the back with child had easier access.
Truth or myth ?? don't know. Food for thought .
