I just contacted the guy via email and he told me that with "all of the interest he has, he now wants $1200."

$1000 is a lot to pay for a non running truck missing parts that has to be towed home, etc if you ask me - but Land Cruiser addict that I am, I'd have probably bought it if he did not pull that price change stunt...

Don't be surprised if the price is $1K a month from now. There's always a lot of "interest", but usually very little follow through.
