I have a friend in Europe who just overheated the 4.0 diesel in his 1986 LC,parts are almost impossible to find in Europe for that old vehicle,due to limited amount of units sold,junkyards never heard about it...I am trying to find him a replacement head,just the head,every other part will be rebuild using existing parts,anybody knows a source ?

he will be able to ship a head for about 1000US. I assume it is a 2H...

If you think those parts are hard to fine in EU it's harder here. I'd hit up bushtaxi and the landcruiser.fr forum.. Maybe Denis can point you in the proper direction over there.
