I listed this cruiser before with ironman 2.5" and at $1500 but didnt have the time to follow up with the responses... I am however leaving for the US Army in 17 days and need to sell this cruiser before I go. So I pretty much am re-posting the original ad. This is a GREAT deal for a good running cruiser with OME lift. I am practically giving it away.
Selling my 1986 FJ60. It has been my daily driver for 2 years now. I bought a second FJ60 this cruiser has to go.
I know this FJ60 through and through I have worked on everything myself so I know everything it needs and will list that here.
Price is $1200
1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60
8b2 blue in far from good condition
184,xxx miles
registration went up in May of this year (5/11) Hoping buyer will pick up registration cost. It will pass smog and I will smog it.
3" Old Man Emu springs w/ extended shackles, OME shocks in front gabriel's in rear
33x12.5x16s
Good stuff:
New Water Pump
New Clutch slave/master
New Brakes and wheel cylinders
Replaced motor mounts
New Flowmaster Exhaust
New Magnaflow Hi-Flow catalytic converter
Fuel tank per recall October 2009
Bottom end rebuilt by previous owner
passes CA smog inspection
The truck runs great. Next up to fix would be:
Slow leak from weep hole in fuel pump
Noisy TO bearing in clutch. Doesnt need to be fixed
slow leak from rear diff?
The worst part about this cruiser is the rust. PO lived in huntington beach and had surf racks so the salt took its toll on the roof.
Rear Left quarter panel damaged. Bondo Fixed. Looks haggard.
Long side of front axle is slightly bent but has no effect on driveability.
I removed the head unit and speakers to put in my new truck, Its ready for a head unit and i created holes and backing for 6x9s in the rear and its ready for 6.5s in the front
I have the original Toyota AM/FM radio and front speakers and covers... I will include these with sale
Like I said, this was my DD and I wheeled it all the time. It has gotten me anywhere I wanted to go, I would trust this cruiser over my newer one to go cross country.
Happy to answer any and all questions. I think because of the rust and body damage this would more appropriately make a trail truck, but the physical appearance never bothered me
