Somehow the crank pulley nut came off my 1986 FJ60. I had to abandon the vehicle about 3.5 hours from where I live. I have a new nut being shipped but I need to confirm which sockets will work. Other threads say a 46 mm socket will work but I'm having a hard time finding one. Has anyone used a 1 13/16 socket to torque the nut? Should I use loctite? After torquing the nut I need to drive it 3.5 hours back home. Thanks.

a 1 13/16" socket fits my 2F crank pulley nut pretty well. Loctite would be a good idea. Stop after a few miles and retorque it too.

Yes, 46 mm is the size.

But take this for what it's worth...
It is impossible to get a ratchet or breaker bar on that socket with the radiator shroud on. Unless you plan on deforming it or cutting it.
You also need to remove the small skid plate under the rad.

I went through this when i kept having to clock my engine at TDC when installing the dizzy.
