1986 4 speed to 3speed t case??

I have a 10/1972 fj40 with a 305 v8 and a Toyota 3speed tranny and transfer case.

I just got gifted a 1986 Toyota 4 speed tranny.

Is there any way to mate everything I have up to a functioning drive train?

So what I want to do is: v8 to 4speed tranny to 3 speed transfer case.

If this is possible what do I need to do this?

4 speed bellhousing, 4 speed clutch setup, adapter for t case.? Iv read where this won't work at all.

Any help would be appreciAted!!!!

No you cannt without another earlier [16 spline] 4 speed or a split case transfer [19 spline] or count your trannys spine and hope its only 16 spline
