Hey Onur, glad you're frolicking with the beast through the foliage man. I have not made any more progress on mine. Pretty sad if you ask me. Hopefully I can restart work soon. Planning on getting the whole thing painted.

Some trail running with the wife yesterday.

Where them trails at man? The only one I know of in this state is literally my back yard, that is all. Of course, there is that small offroad park up in Ellenville, is it? But that is it.

Onur, your attention and knowledge is second to none out seems. Rebuilding mine atm and the head markings confuse me based on your write up. My best guess would be the g references a 7? Making it a 71 year and a first generation head.

Just a local county road here in Napanoch area.
Sir a quick question, I’m starting my 3B rebuild and when I removed the oil filter mount from the oil cooler cover I found a hole in the block. Here is a picture of what I found.

The engine was running when I pulled it from a1985 BJ60.
do I need to get this welded or is it intentional. Found no metal in the oil pan.

thank you

Identical to mine, all good

This thread makes me want a 3B to rebuild... but since I don't have one I just read it for the gratuitous parts porn and insane OCD work ethic.
