Long time ago did that to a Nissan TD. Worked the ports a lot and opened them up. Seemed to be excellent results but the engine had so many mods and never got dyno’ed.

Despite the open sandals...the feet stay cleaner than the hands.

That same bastard bolt screwed with me for almost an hour putting it back together the second time. Some how the first time it all popped together instantly.
Also fishing that damn starter back in from below was also a straight bastard. Heavy as hell, awkward and finding the right direction to get in on, the hold and fish bolts...I think that bolt and starter was the worst part of the rebuild
