1983 FJ60 VSV question (1 Viewer)

What does this valve control, I can’t tell from the diagram what this one mounted on drivers side fender controls. The wires to is have been cut. Trying to find out is I should hook it back up. Other than the upper bvsb having the nipples broken off, and the air rail being cut off with the ports welded up I believe the rest of the smog components are in place.

I believe that one is used for the air conditioning idle up vacuum actuator on the carburetor

It’s probably non functional. That’s probably why it’s been cut. Mine was not working either.

My non-AC 1983 60 does not have this, so I would assume it's for the AC idle up control. I'm vaguely aware that some of the AC vacuum widgets are mounted over there, so the placement looks right.

I'm sure the experts will be along soon with the final word.
