Wanted 1980 FJ40 -- Rear view mirror (head only) (1 Viewer)

Hello --wondering if anyone out there has a mirror head only to replace mine that is cracked. Several places sell the whole unit but I just need to replace the mirror head. The OEM ones popped on to the arm with a small nut and bolt to tighten. Thought I would try here first.

In the original post he is asking for just the mirror head which is not sold separately. Also part number 300 has be superceded to a later one with the night adjustment for night glare off of highlights behind the vehicle.

Personally would not bother with looking for 40 plus year old plastic mirror head. I probably have at least two old complete mirrors I doubt could get the mirror head off without cracking. I have already purchased a couple new OEM mirrors as replacements. Somethings just better to bite the bullet and buy new while they are still available. I have bought a number of parts that are now NLA.

Is the mirror cracked or the plastic frame? l I went to a local glass shop and had a mirror cut and adapted.
