1980 FJ 40 Electrical Issues (1 Viewer)

I'm in Moab and we are having electrical issues. Does anyone know of a local shop to seek assistance at? I currently have no dash lights, no turn signals and no wipers. I've replaced all fuses and nothing changed. HELP!

are all bulbs good ? blinker relay ?

are your major ground straps connected ?

the local shops don't really like to deal with wiring much, in my experience

Did you find blown fuses? Get a brass cleaning brush for a .22 and clean the fuse block.

[Sandtrap]

Try disconnecting the wires to your reverse light switch on top of the trans. they can dead short and ause these issues.

thanks for the sugestions. used pipe cleaner on fuse port that i suspected being the prob, we now have all lights.
