Ok. Perhaps I am missing something here

how doesoneget at the bolts holding the clutch set on the flywheel?

Can’t get tools up therre

got three bolts out but can’t get at the upper?

and before someone says remove bell housing. Yes I get that but don’t I have to remove the clutch set to get at internal bolts?
Useful help is appreciated

Been there, done that.......:bang:

I use a 12" long 3/8" ratchet extension. Slips into the holes in the flywheel. 12" is long enough to get leverage to move it crank. When working by yourself avoids multiple trips underneath and back out trying to get the crank in the right spot for the next set of bolt on the pressure plate. They are three sets of two.

Thanks!!

Really, I understand there’s more than one way to get the job done. I’m sure removing spark plugs takes longer but guess it gives you a chance to evaluate them and maybe even do a compression test while you’re at it. I just wear leather gloves and the flywheel turns quite easily

k so i kind have a similar question. how do you get it apart if the engine is seized? i have a seized 2f on my floor and want to take the bell housing off and get at the clutch. any suggestions?

Maybe drop the oil pan and start taking apart the cam, lifters etc...

then perhaps the flywheel will turn and with it the clutch set. ??
