The more I look at these FJCo wheels the more beautiful they are. The rest of the tires land today and these are off to get mounted

Yeah, but I bet they stink like new vinyl 😝.

Got to the tire store when they opened and got the tires mounted to the FJCo wheels. I gotta say, these things are so beautiful. The lug cones are perfectly set for OEM studs and lugs.

One of my Instagram friends sent me a message that the mat I got from Yemen is a FJ55 mat so we had a mad triangle of messages going from me to John to Beno to Yemen Beno so I just put the hump in and then laid it out. Holy s*** that’s a disappointment

Lastly I pulled the crossmember for hopefully the last time ever and put it in the paint booth. This thing is pure art.

My Yemen friend showed me a photo of a 55 mat that was sold 2+ months ago when I inquired. So @jomelo if you need it to go to a good home, I’m your huckleberry.

Rims are definitely nice. Will have to consider those for the pig.

It’s already been re-homed.

Man. Got caught in a rabbit hole this afternoon. Driver rear brake light was out. Fixed. Wired the tag light. Taped up the harness. Finished up the rear bump stops. Reinstalled the painted crossmember.

New heater core is leaking. WTF. Gotta take it out and I’ll put the old core back in. Once that’s on it’s time to get the fuel tank settled in.

More sexy wheel pics as I take a breather

Got the throttle cable installed. Went with a direct pull from the firewall. Works great. Simple. We will see how it feels.

Put the seat bases, driver seat and shifters in.

And then I added some fluid to the clutch, tossed in some gas and there you go
