Help, I have a 78' FJ-40 that drives perfect for 5 min then sputters and quits. I cant get it restarted. Has newer tank, new fuel lines, routing looks good, new fuel pump. Carb solenoid works. All replaced to try to fix issue. Looks like fuel pickup sender was replaced with tank five years ago or so. Couple of shops cant figure it out either?
Thanks for any help!

When it dies, pull the coil wire at the distributor cap and hold it near the heater pipe. Have your helper crank the motor (in neutral of course) and see if you have spark. Your problem could be ignition. Also when it dies, see if you can see fuel in the sight glass on the carb.
