Hello Friends,

I wanted to see if anyone could point me in the right direction here. I dont have a FSM and didnt see a pdf version for my year on the site.

I'm trying to identify all of the connections on my carb. I have numbered them in the photos.

Could someone tell me where I can get a resource that explains all of this?

I have a trollhole carb on the way, but I'll likely rebuild this one as well.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Should be similar to 82-87 FJ-60 2F. That'll get you 90% there. Emission manual available on this site.

Looks like someone wrapped your fuel lines going into carb. Is the carb cooling fan intact and working on your ‘78? That can be very hard starting when hot without it

I'm not sure...another item I need to identify. I assumed they were wrapped because they weren't hard lines.

Hard lines are much safer as well.

I bent my own on the ‘76. Can no longer get OEM fuel lines. Easy job, just get the olives and nuts from dealer and take your time.

Danny’s diagram above is what helped me get mine “plummed” correctly.

Hey thanks for the link to the vacuum hoses Solace....huge help!

Tls, good suggestion. I was thinking of doing that as well. Right now my main gas line from the tank is a soft line somebody added. I found it when replacing the tank.

I found a sticker but not a diagram pinhead. Attached is what I found
