  • Clean 1977 title – from what I was told I’m the 4th owner and this 40 has always been in or very near Arizona

  • The reason I’m selling it I just don’t use it like I used to, I also kept it as original as possible as that was my preference

  • Mostly all original except for suspension – very solid, surface rust, and runs great
  • Inline 6 cylinder original 2F, 4.2 liter engine
  • 4 speed manual transmission with hi/lo gear box
  • Approximately 124,204 miles
  • 2F engine is original, original Aisin carb, air filter hardware, engine fan
  • Rhino liner interior
  • Good battery – installed 2 years ago, kept on pulse charger
  • New tires installed a couple of years ago, not many miles on them
  • Radiator and hoses in great shape
  • New brake booster from Toyota (Cruiser Dan)
  • Dealer installed Clardy AC was removed for overhaul, the compressor mount is still installed on the engine
  • Installed an O2 sensor to help tuning, works great

Hi. I also lived in Tucson for 18 years. I had a desert tan, 1977 FJ40 that looked similar to yours. At least the inside did. The outside looked whiter than the interior. Was it painted or different lighting.
I still have my 77 Cruiser.
Where about in Tucson do you live? I know it well.
