Ah, yes the other guy is not in Miami. The rope thing must be a strange phenomenon. Looks like there is also different ropes for different days of the week.


Well back in the days growing up, the company my dad worked for had all the FJ40's with Warn Winches. However, working in the jungles of South America, you needed all the extra Heavy Duty Rope you could carry to get you out of some difficult holes when you got stuck. This is 1 1/2 inch sisal rope. Back then we didnt have nylon straps or all the fancy straps available today.

Wait, are you the rope guy?!?!?!?! You have the red truck with the rope too?
At least when I was growing up you’d wrap thick rope around a bumper so you wouldn’t damage the finish pushing other vehicles and gates with it.
